Case Study: Kenji – Bespoke Retail Display Stall

Overview

Kenji, the popular East-meets-West lifestyle and gifting brand, approached us to produce a bespoke in-store stall that would reflect their playful visual identity while providing a functional solution for merchandising. The stall needed to be engaging, practical and consistent with their brand values of creativity, simplicity and impact.

Our team at BPD Group managed the full creative and production process – from initial design development through to final print and assembly.

Design and Prototyping

We delivered a comprehensive service from creative development through to production and delivery:

  • Design Development – Collaborating closely with Dobbies’ in-house team, we explored materials and colourways that would complement the natural aesthetic of their stores.

  • CAD Prototyping & Sampling – We produced full-scale white samples to test structure and sizing in-store, ensuring the POS elements worked both practically and visually within the retail space.

Execution

After producing a series of white CAD samples – including layered flame-style toppers – the decision was made to simplify the concept to a flat flower head design, making installation easier across multiple store locations.
