On my behalf, BPD Group have been my chosen partner for nearly 5 years and I will always happily provide a reference on their behalf as sourcing the right print partners will be as key to you as it is myself I’m sure.

As a business, I look after the Marketing for 1,250 retail stores (Martin’s & McColl’s), an industry that is extremely re-active to product and pricing strategies that require instant implementation and professionalism into stores throughout the UK.

When I joined Martin McColl I ‘inherited’ a print partnership with a large London company which wasn’t right for our business. Though they were very established, the detail in the projects (not just the smaller campaigns) caused frustrations to say the least.

As such I undertook a tender process that evaluated six print organisations. Naturally cost was important, but more so from a personal objective was the everyday support to my small Marketing Team, detail, consistency, knowing that the small (one off store briefs) were equally as important to me as the national campaigns.

BPD Group not only promised this but have consistently delivered to all of these objectives. Though my print budget of £1.1 million p/a may seem generous, I can promise you that as a business every penny of Marketing is stretched to maximise budget usage and with BPD Group partnership this has certainly been achievable.

But outside of the print itself, the behind the scenes skills that they offer are equally as important to them as a business. Design, new ideas, distribution, account management and the overall confidence that once a job has been briefed … ‘I don’t need to chase them feeling’ breeds confidence throughout their structure.

I am also pleased to confirm that further to BPD Group original contract drawing to its conclusion, that within the last couple on months I have undertaken a new tender process to which BPD Group have been awarded a further 3 year contract extension.
